Fernandoa abbreviata
Native to Tanzania and Malawi. Named
and described by Bidgood (1994). Specimens of this
species were previously placed under Fernandoa
magnifica. Within southern Africa this species is
cultivated in the National Botanic Garden, Harare (see
Flora of Zimbabwe) and the Lowveld Botanical Garden,
Nelspruit. Not listed in Glen (2002).
