Dickson, Charles Gordon Cambell (1907-1991)
Well known amateur lepidopterist who published a number
of books on butterflies.
Amateur butterfly collector; also collected moths for the Transvaal Museum.
Collaborated with Gowan C. Clark. Described 60 species and 34 subspecies of
butterflies in his life time. Authored or co-authored 90 publications on
Lepidoptera including five books.
