Cookson, Harold (1876-1969)
Farmer and amateur butterfly and moth collector. Lived in Muden, Natal and
then in the Vumba Mountains in what was then Rhodesia.

He and his two sons bought a fruit farm in Muden, Natal. Collected
Lepidoptera extensively in the area. |

Sold the fruit farm and moved to the lower Vumba Mountains in Rhodesia.
Collected Lepidoptera, especially light trapping of hawk moths. Son David
gradually took over. |
