An African genus of 28 species, with one species, Arantia fasciata, native to southern Africa.

Two species, Austrodontura capensis and Austrodontura castletoni, endemic to southern Africa.

Eight species, endemic to southern Africa.

Catoptropteryx

An African genus of 15 species, with one species, Catoptropteryx aurita, endemic to southern Africa.

Conchotopoda

Six species are endemic to southern Africa and two species are endemic to Madagascar.

Symmetropleura

Eight species, with a distribution that includes Africa, Madagascar and South America. One species, Symmetropleura plana, is native to southern Africa.

Terpnistria

Two species, Terpnistria lobulata and Terpnistria zebrata, both native to southern Africa, one of them with a distribution that also includes East Africa.

Tylopsis

Fourteen species, distributed in Africa and Europe, with two species, Tylopsis bilineolata and Tylopsis continua, native to southern Africa.
