Conocephalus

A total of 123 species, with a worldwide distribution (except polar regions). Sixteen species are native to southern Africa. 

Copiphora

Twenty-six species, with a disjointed distribution that includes southern Africa, Central and South America, and Washington State, USA. One species, Copiphora subulata, is native to southern Africa.

 

Odontolakis

There are 13 endemic species on Madagascar and one species, Odontolakis megacephala, that is native to southern Africa.

Pseudorhynchus

Twenty-five species, with a distribution that includes Africa south of the Sahara, Asia and Australia. Three species are native to southern Africa.

Ruspolia

Forty-one species, with a distribution that includes Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia and South America. Six species are native to southern Africa.
