Two species, occurring in Africa south of the Sahara, with  one, Cyathosternum roseum, native to southern Africa.

 

Eyprepocnemis

Thirty-five species, distributed over Africa, Madagascar, Europe and Asia. Three species are native to southern Africa.

Heteracris

Sixty-four species, occurring in Africa, southern Europe, Middle East and Kazakhstan. Eleven species are native to southern Africa.

Jucundacris

One species, Jucundacris pictipes, endemic to southern Africa.

Metaxymecus

Four species, distributed in Africa and Madagascar, with one species, Metaxymecus gracilipes, native to southern Africa.

Tylotropidius

Six species, distributed through African and the southern regions of Asia. One species, Tylotropidius didymus, is native to southern Africa.
