Two species worldwide, both of which have broad distributions that are likely to include the southern African seas. However, there are no confirmed records from this region.

Occurs in "tropical and warm parts of all three oceans" (van Soest 1975). No confirmed records yet for southern African seas.

 

Brooksia rostrata

van Soest (1975): "...widely distributed over the warmer parts of all oceans". No confirmed records yet for the southern Africa seas.
